Unsure, seems its a 'grey' cowling cover though.

As AJ said above, they aren't off the RR(OJ*) 744's. Completly different size and shape from the Rolls Royce to the General Electric.

My question is why do they bother making the other cowlings grey when there arent any GE QF744 with grey engines. Wouldnt they just make them white? OED and OEB(before repaint) and I assume others had grey cowlings at one stage.

Not if your comparing it to RR engines. Yes they are a shade of grey compared to the normal GE 74's but no where near the Rolls Royce which is what we are really talking about.
