RFDS have 5-6 aircraft based here
G'day Lloyd,
Not quite correct. While it may seem like it some days, there's still only 2 based there.

Cheers

Mick

No worries.

It can be quite busy down there some days, with aircraft coming from Charleville, Brisy, Bundy, Rocky, Townsville, all in the one day! Not unusual for aircraft to do several trips in the day as well.

So how how many A380s services operate per day in Australia now? Is this correct?

1x BNE (1x EK)
5x MEL (2x QF, 2x SQ, 1x EK)

Not sure about SYD, I am sure someone will post.

Pretty sure there's at least 7, soon to increase with other carriers using them (Thai and China Southern, possibly Malaysian?).
