Willy also had the 450 Sqdn Memorial day today. Kittyhawk and F-18's up, so Willy control would have been open.

It would have been because of the flight past of 2 #3 squadron Hornets and a Kittyhawk it was to comemerate 70 years of 450 squadron. There were a few delays I was out at the base watching and listening on my scanner. One of the hornets was a dual seater with a camera man in for photo ops over Newcastle. The Hornets asked for a 5 mile exclusion while taking photos. Watch the RAAF Facebook page for the pics.
