Does VBM still have the beige leather interior? It did in 2006! Can't wait to see the ATRs in Canberra more than twice a day, look forward to riding one! Great report BTW!

Thanks for posting the very informative trip repoort, Brandon.

I flew to Port Macquarie on Virgin back in 2009 on the then new E-170. Does the ATR72 use the Virgin callsign?

RE: the call sign, I think I read elsewhere on the forum that it is a standard Virgin callsign with Sierra suffix
ie. "Virgin 672 Sierra"

Thanks Zac, I actually heard that on Brisbane Centre the other day but didn't make sense to me at the time.

Brandon

Dude, that is a fantastic trip report, with some great and detailed pictures, and frankly, is the best one I've read from you thus far! Just loved the aircraft you saw along the way everywhere you went, the views you got (I.e. Over Sydney and Bankstown), and just the detail you've put into it!

Please keep going on such adventures and please keep sharing them, because I love reading them!

I must say, I'm not really one to read trip reports, but while I was waiting at work last night I had a browse and was quite impressed by your photo's Brandon.

Nice to see you enjoyed my home town, ;-).

Mick

VBM has the standard Virgin 737 seats

I use a Canon EOS 1000D, the majority of my photos were taken with my 18-55mm lens and a few with my 75-300mm
