the Qantas contents should come live on that page closer to or actually on the delivery date. Airbus has already made similar videos for the QF A380. I dunno who was clever enough to try that website so early... anyway the webmasters mustve been running tests.

Then there is a video clip you may find interesting at http://en.carnoc.com/list/8/8702.html as well.

That's the latest that I've heard, but I didn't ask for the time.

I believe I've been requested specifically by one of the media photographers for the arrival to try to get that 'special' shot that no-one else will get. I've worked with them before, so it should be a lot of fun.

Just browsing the net and saw its due in at about 8-9am for the Welcoming Ceremony between 8-11am on Sunday.

I hope this is correct as i have Champions of Champions soccer at the Central Coast that same afternoon. Does anyone know if there is internet hotspots available in the vacinity of the mound? So i can upload my photos straight away

Radi, the initial slots (including the first wave of Senior Check and Check & Training Captains) went to A330 guys, most of whom were on the 744 before that. From now on, a large number of the A380 guys will be going there direct from the 744.

Other operators seem to have different 'first wave' crewing policies. SQ, for example, only gave slots to 744 (ie. 'large aircraft') crew.
