Why spend that much money when you have a perfect facility and sitting there at Melbourne and Sydney!

I suppose, its the newest, having being built in 2004, so updating infrastructure to withstand future growth... Re-aligning of assets, and being able to consolidate costs (lease out existing infrastructure to other operators maybe) at either SYD/AVV...(MEL is earmarked as being closed back in May)

Are Qantas also conducting maintenance in Seletar? VH-VXC is currently over there after ferrying about two weeks ago.
