C-FLHI 'Bruce' is rumoured to become VH-8AV, current EIS date is the 9th of April. As with all things Bonza, this will likely change

Korda Mentha have been called in to advise on a restructure, Nauru suddenly dropped its wet lease offering last week, not looking promising.

Bonza, as we've seen, are cutting schedules due to the delays in getting the wet leased Flair aircraft under dry leases and the termination of the Nauru wet leases.

From another forum:

Operations have now ceased.

Good luck to all the front line teams, once again, screwed over by incompetent management. The front line guys are legends, I will give the company that. Not to your fault, and you guys are what gives this profession the respected name it has.

I hope CPs from around the country reach out to this group.

You didn’t have to turn up to work in recent weeks. But you did. Full credit to you lot.

Tim Jordan rides off into the sunset with Michael James….

Sad if true.

Not looking good - https://www.news.com.au/travel/trave...02e27e473a4cf7

Fingers crossed they'll survive as they have brought some really good routes to the fore.

I’d love them to survive too , but I somehow doubt that very much . The route network may work with much smaller , more economical aircraft , but whoever thought 737MAX aircraft were the best choice for its route network were kidding themselves . I feel for the employees , the ones who have done the hard yards to be left unemployed now .

Many of us are in Sydney, so I guess that limits our ability to support Bonza by flying with them?

It was a short-lived business that had potential, but 'growing pains' are a very real issue for new enterprises.

Bonza was no Virgin Australia, with the backing and deep pockets of an ultra-wealthy entrepreneur and tycoon, even though Bonza had some top-flight skilled professionals at the helm in both the cockpit and the corporate office.
