What a terrible shame to go to an all white boring scheme after the beautiful scheme they currently have.

I'm with you Matt. I don't understand all the criticism to be honest. Saw the A330 at the GA this afternoon, and I think it looks fantastic...

Any information on when YFC will come to OOL in the new c/s? Can't wait to see it in the flesh here!

Maybe the criticism is all because of the hype surrounding this relaunch, when in the end it has been a bit of a fizzer and a very plain looking livery. So many good ideas on this board how some very simple changes could have made plane look amazing. I really like the idea of purple titles to liven it up a little.

I am also willing to bet that the soft product inside will also be a bit of a fizzer. Whilst I don't doubt it will be good (and better to that offered in Europe and America), I reckon it will not live up to the hype and in the end will be a copy of what Qantas is more or less already offering, as opposed to making a clear point of difference.

Now yes it would be hard to better what Qantas offers domestically because as anyone who has flown sectors equivalent to Australian domestic sectors would know what Qantas offers domesticly is miles ahead of anyone else. So far nothing announced or leaked looks like eclipsing anything offered by the red rat.

I will admit that after seeing the livery in the golden sun, I really like it

It already has Dave. It did SYD-BNK-SYD-MEL-HBA today after the photo shoot. So it's overnighting in HBA tonight.

It started today Dave. DJ1142 SYD-BNK was the first flight.

Has YFE entered service yet? Is that all white or has it crossed the ditch for painting?
