Stefan is this 76 a stretched version, just by the look of the photos it looks longer...

H i Jaryd,
I am not sure. By the looks of photos I have seen as well, it appears a stretched version. |

It's an Il-76MF, stretched and re-engined with PS90s, they first built the prototype in the late 90s but this aircraft is the first (and only) production variant built in 2011 it seems. Out of curiosity, does anyone know what happened to RA-76900 (cn 1053417563), the last photos of it I can find are in 2005 and I can't locate it's current status anywhere.

James had a quick look at Freebird and this Jordanian IL76 could be ex RA76900.
It was returned to the TAPCO factory for mods to IL76MF for the RJAF sometime in 2006 and supposedly delivered around Feb this year? Just found an entry in August Aviation Letter stating JYJID/361 was in Moscow in June and quote cn 20.3423808 so this is either a new build or just cn change?
