Slightly off topic, but last night in Las Vegas where I live, I was driving home down the Airport Connector which goes past the stand off bays for Terminal 1's D Gates and saw a United 757 with "The Oprah Winfrey Show" painted on the tail.

I just did a search and found a photo of the plane. It was painted to commemorate her show's final season. So she gets a trip to Australia and a commercial jet painted for her!

A friend of mine went to the US last week and flew on the United 757 with the Oprah titles on it! Lucky bastard!

Exclamation Chopper ran out of gas!
Oprah commented to the ABC tonight that they had to wait at the Harbour Bridge summit for 40 minutes because the photography chopper had to return to base to refuel!

Having 300 people spending 40 minutes atop the Harbour Bridge waiting for the helicopter to return sounds like bad planning on someone's part, although Oprah may have climbed more slowly than predicted! At least the bridge-based camera crew got plenty of extra footage.

Question 15 December is mass exit day
Lots of departures tomorrow although I've heard that the divine Miss O may not be leaving until Thursday - anyone seen flight plans for N54SL?
