XFE landing gear was damaged last year and is unserviceble. Apparently there are a number of factors contributing to it not being repaired and ferried, including no hanger big enough and who is going to wear the costs of the repair. I read somewhere on Facebook (yes i dont believe everything on Facebook) that it may be parted out in Perth but as i said that was on Facebook.

Also heard that they cannot get approval to ferry in its current state to somewhere with a big enough hangar to fix it. |

Airbus are refusing to allow a ferry flight and Perth Airport are refusing to allow the aircraft to be jacked on the apron. I believe the apron was damaged when they did the component replacement on the initial defect.

Interesting, suspicions were that this would come back to AU for REX but other sources are now saying freighter conversion.
