XFE landing gear was damaged last year and is unserviceble. Apparently there are a number of factors contributing to it not being repaired and ferried, including no hanger big enough and who is going to wear the costs of the repair. I read somewhere on Facebook (yes i dont believe everything on Facebook) that it may be parted out in Perth but as i said that was on Facebook.

Yeah, pretty much what I have heard too.
Also heard that they cannot get approval to ferry in its current state to somewhere with a big enough hangar to fix it.

Airbus are refusing to allow a ferry flight and Perth Airport are refusing to allow the aircraft to be jacked on the apron. I believe the apron was damaged when they did the component replacement on the initial defect.

Also, VH-YFH looks to be doing a 2 hour 5 minute test flight from/to BNE today leaving at 12:30.

Interesting, suspicions were that this would come back to AU for REX but other sources are now saying freighter conversion.
