According to Lloyd's post #28 of this thread, Virgin has scheduled into service the second Max from 11 September and the third Max from 9 October. Always subject to change of course.
Hopefully, one of Virgin's Max fuselages didn't end up in a Montana river or is affected by the closure of the rail line that is used to transport them to Boeing for assembly. |

Interesting that in the last two Virgin Australia newsroom media releases there is no mention of a 737 Max. It is referred to as a 737-8, with the rest of the 737s as either 737-800 or 737-800NG.
Is Ms Hrdlicka not willing to call it a 737 Max? Should we change the name of this thread? |

Boeing have slowing been dropping the Max tag since 2020, 737-8 is after all the offical designation
