The Courier Mail had a article on the new terminal planned to be built before 2032 .
It will cost 1 Billion dollars however another 2 Billion will be spent on other projects as well. I guess a Mass Transit System will be part of that? Last edited by lloyd fox; 28th May 2021 at 04:31 PM. Reason: Issues

Here is a photo from BAC of the new terminal.It will be operational by 2032 and earlier if BNE wins the 2032 Olympics.That will be decided next month.
On the front side of the terminal running along the top northern and western section is a new retail shopping complex. You can see a nice green courtyard at the front of the new terminal.They plan to plant lot's of tropical plants both in and outside of the terminal. Also you can see the large building near the other 2 car parks.It will be the new transport interchange building where all modes of transport including a monorail will arrive.I believe check in can also be done here before entering the terminal.
