First international route for the Dreamliners is MEL-DPS from Dec 18.

Jetstar CEO Jayne Hrdlicka, who was also on the historic delivery flight after signing the papers at the delivery ceremony, announced that Bali would be the 787s first overseas destination.
"I'm delighted to announce that our first scheduled international service will depart Melbourne to Bali, one of our most popular destinations, with the 787 operating a daily service over the summer period,'' she said.
"Many families will be taking a well-earned holiday in Bali this summer and will have the opportunity to fly on this amazing aircraft, and I can say from experience that flying on the 787 is a destination in itself.
"Tickets are now on sale for our first 787 flight to Bali on December 18 and we expect to add more destinations including Japan, Hawaii and Singapore to the schedule as we receive more aircraft.''

I see they're only selling Economy class on these flights, but if you choose your own seats and pay $24 more, you can select a StarClass seat.

Seems like a pretty cheap way to sample the 'hard product'

I am lodging a claim for the first ADS-B reception of an Australian registered B787 Dreamliner, based on the data below,
and tracked for just under one hour.

I didn't see any pick by the Brisbane ADSB team, but happy to be corrected.

Looks like they will track via Wollongong. Hopefully we will see plenty of images of the touchdown in Melbourne.

Yep, and there she went. Eye-balled as nothing more than a tiny dot in the sky. As seen from Sydney about 20nm away at FL400.
