VXP really needed the repaint, you could still see where the 75th Anniversary decals were when I saw it in September.

i apoligise in advance if i have too much eye for detail, but it just seem strange that how some of the QF planes that are being repainted are being different each time.
i am mainly talking about the 738 and the 744.

VH-VXA hasn't got her 'eyebrows' plucked
but VH-VXP dose, even tho they were done a while ago tho.
wouldn't it make sense for the rest of the fleet look similar in some way.

and for the 744 VH-OJS and VH-OEB have the names by the flight deck windows on both sides were as VH-OJU only has it on the LHS of the aircraft

is there a reason for these to be like this?

From memory the first few of the 738's came with the eyebrow windows. I belive it was because they were from the original order from American Airlines.
If I remember correctly, the first few were delived with the windows, as they were from the original order from American Airlines. The rest were ordered without as boeing phased out the windows.

General public dont care or would not notice the differance, So why waste money removing them.

We have had this same old boring livery with very little change at all, for the past 15 or 20 years or more, its time for a REAL CHANGE Qantas.
