Many of them won’t be converted, there is not enough seats available, and in fact Virgin are advising that due to unusual configs, you may not get extra leg room etc on some flights.

That's interesting - if those happen to be the newer Rockwell Collins seats, with the tablet/phone holder, they're actually a generation ahead of the ones that used to be on the SilkAir 737-800s, and a similar model to the ones found on the 737-8 MAXs.
