Japanese pilot forgets to lower landing gear
Posted 19 minutes ago on abc.net.au A 57-year-old pilot on a training flight has escaped injury after forgetting to extend his landing gear when touching down at an airport in Kobe, western Japan. "I forgot to put down the landing gear," restaurant owner Yoshihiko Yamamoto, who has logged 400 flying hours since obtaining his pilot's licence in 1977, was quoted as telling police. He was flying a privately owned, single-engine six-seat Beechcraft aircraft with no-one else on board when it landed mid-morning at Kobe's main airport. The airport was closed for two-and-a-half hours, delaying nine commercial flights up to four hours and inconveniencing some 1,200 travellers, Kyodo news agency reported.

same thing happens on Ice Pilots when one of the fire fighting planes were sold to Turkey, and a Turkish pilot doing training in Turkey did the same thing
was on film, and difference was the pilot scrapped the runway with no wheels, but was then able to get away from teh runway
