Default Aeropelican to Cooma (Snowy Mountains)

Aeropelican Air Services announced today that they will be commencing direct air passenger services between Sydney and the Snowy Mountains, starting in June 2010.

Aeropelican is a Newcastle based independent regional airline, which currently operates services from Newcastle Airport (Williamtown) to Sydney and from Sydney to Narrabri and Mudgee.

Aeropelican operate a fleet of BAE Jetstream 32 aircraft that will operate the Snowy Mountains services.

NB: The carrier is looking at developing a year-round schedule.


On a related note, QantasLink will introduce its seasonal Sydney-Mount Hotham services effective JUN10, with services lasting approximately 2.5 months.
