Default CASA Wants to Cut Down Flights Due to ATC Shortage?

Just saw this article on another website:

Quote:
Australia's Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) says it's considering restricting the number of planes flying at certain times because of a shortage of air traffic controllers.

Concerns have been raised after domestic flights operated without air-traffic control on a number of routes this year because controllers called in sick.

Full article available here
However, the CASA website posts a press release issued today saying:

Quote:
No decision has been taken by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority on changing the procedures to be used in airspace when normal air traffic control services are not available.

Full press release available here
Well, let's wait and see what happens next...
