Flyglobespan goes bust

Flyglobespan has gone bust, supposedly leaving thousands of pax stranded overseas.

Word has it they denied they were in trouble as recently as this monday so somebody at the company got it all wrong.

Scotland's biggest airline, FlyGlobespan, has been placed in administration after attempts to find a new investor fell through.

All scheduled flights will cease from Wednesday evening.

Administrators PricewaterhouseCoopers said FlyGlobespan was in contact with about 5,000 passengers booked to travel with the airline.

Perhaps a good opportunity for another operator to pick up 10 cheap aircraft.
