Taxi speed...
Hi all,
Was at The Mound this morning and was asked a question, by an accompanying relative: What is the usual taxi speed (of say, a 737 along Bravo)... Curious if anyone could answer...

I've been behind some aircraft (not necessarily B737's) along Tango doing upwards of 60-70km/h, but the average around the place would be somewhere around 30 and up to 50 on long-ish straights. Bravo can really vary depending on the taxi instructions and also because it's up hill northbound until General Holmes Drive, has a stopbar crossing point at 07/25, then develops a kink at Bravo-3.
I'll have a better look at the speedo tomorrow if I remember.

Max recommend taxi speed for most A/C I've flown is 30 Knots.
Some are a limit with a distance involved and some are just a recommendation. Most 90 degree turns are done at 10 knots. Todd.
