Default Questions: Brindabella Airlines/Qantas Frequent Flyer

Please excuse my ignorance here.

I am looking at flying from Newcastle to Sydney with Brindabella.
As a member of the QFF program I believe I can earn points when flying with Brindabella - Is NTL-SYD an eligible route?

Secondly; If booking through the Qantas website, are 'status credits' awarded when flying with Brindabella? I would think not, however there is a price discrepancy between both airlines website's for this particular flight which has made me think twice.

Thankyou.
Adam

You earn points as long as it is not the lowest fare, can't answer the status credits question.

If the Qantas website is showing a Qantas flight number (i.e. a codeshare), then as long as you book under the QF code, you should get SC.

Zac/Mark,

Thankyou for your replies. I wasn't sure if QFF status points are awarded when flying with other airlines using a QF code share or not and if booking the flight via the Qantas website or the other airline's website is a factor is the eligibility process.

Unfortunately my upcoming travel plans have changed and I will no longer be flying this particular route so I won't be able to provide any anecdotal evidence in the near future.

Cheers.
