Tiger Moths
Does anyone know of a site or any sites or someone with the knowledge of all DH82 Tiger moth locations in Australia, ie flying, damaged, stored etc?

Hi Brendan, I could not believe that there were 211 DH-82s on the Australian Register. Hope this is somewhat useful.

Brendan et al,
Track down a bloke in Perth called Nigel Emmans. He has built a couple in his garage (VH-NIG) was one of them and has a extensive knowledge of where quite a lot of them are sitting afaik. Cheers Tim

Thanks heaps Tim. I am trying to get some experience on wood and fabric, thus asking the question. I have gone down to Jandakot with little luck so far. (nil restorations/repairs etc)

Didn't RACWA do some work on VH-FAS after a river incident some years ago? Scott |

Brendon,
These guys are doing restorations all the time... http://www.luskintigers.com.au/ I've been to their lunch with the Tigers a couple of times now. Well worth the effort. You can go and look through their workshop where they are restoring the old planes. Interesting stuff. Link to pics from Luskintyre
