Default Fedex 77 Missed approach 16R 17/10

Anyone catch the reason that the MD-11 gave for the missed approach this arvo?

She spooled up right outside the office and and we had the windows open

I didnt hear ATC but I suspect it could have been due to a QF B744 being towed across the runway....

I had liveatc running, the controller gave the tug permission to cross the runway then the MD-11 pilot came on and said is he going to cross the runway while we're on final, she said there would be time and gave the option to continue approach or do the standard missed approach, the pilot wasn't happy so he said he would take the missed approached.

I'll bet that QF 744 being towed was the "missing for a few days" OJJ being towed across to T1 to take up service as QF5.

OJM after coming in on QF64 from JNB, Jayden.

I thought it was from the Jet Base to T1.
