Default JQ still suffering loading issues

Loading related event involving Airbus A320, VH-VQC, Gold Coast Airport, Queensland, on 29 October 2016

The ATSB is investigating a loading related event involving Airbus A320, VH-VQC, at Gold Coast Airport, Queensland, on 29 October 2016.

During the cruise, the flight crew were advised that a baggage container, which was not recorded on the loading manifest, had been inadvertently left in the cargo hold. The crew made the appropriate changes to the landing performance data and the aircraft landed safely.

As part of the investigation, the ATSB will interview the flight and ground crew and gather additional information.

A report will be released within several months.
