Maybe the plan is they can connect Sydney with Biman Bangladesh airlines extensive world network through their magahub at Dhaka....joke

BG 88 ARR SYD 1105 dep 1245 EFF 25 MARCH on WED,SUN then 1 hr earlier from beginning of april .

These are the plans with a 777-300er.

NOT 100% confirmed but a strong possibility.

They recently leased a B744 from Air Atlanta Icelandic, not sure what they plan on using it for but I guess that could turn up once or twice.

I'd love to see their DC-10's aswell, but I just don't think they'll send their old birds on a new route like this especially when they wanted to wait until their 77W's were in service because that's what they intend to use on this route.

However never say never....

Photographed BBs A310 and B777 in Singapore in March, was one of the few "exotic" aircraft i saw there. paint work is not jaw dropping beautiful, but the Bangladesh script one one side and English on the other side is interesting.
