Evening all,

Beginning today EK414/415 becomes an A380. A6-EDA operated EK414 tonight, will depart at EK415 tomorrow morning.

Just gonna put this here rather than starting a new thread; anyone know why QF702 MEL-CNS (VYE) has diverted to CBR this morning?

Just a question on the movements this morning - after departing off 34, all the traffic seems to be making left hand turns. The traffic of 34R is turning sharply, almost tracking above the end of 34L. I have never seen it before so any insights would be interesting.

Sarah, it may be due to weather to the east. I notice that it's only MARUB departures that are turning left whereas ENTRA looks to be ops as normal. Also downwind traffic for 34R are tracking further east than usual. The last time I saw 34R departures turn left was when there were emergency helicopters operating in Maroubra.

The weather has moved off and they still seem to be doing it? It was thundering in Randwick when I wrote the previous post.

Aerolineas A342 LV-ZPX which arrived almost 2 weeks ago was finally moved from the General Holmes hardstand this after to bay 99 with a bit of an interesting look. Was later towed to the Jetbase where the engine will be replaced.
