At the moment the delay is for problems with the systems on board.

Thanks that makes more sense than the two cynical replies above. Both are notorius for canning the A380 and/or Qantas at every oportunity.

I had heard that QF were delaying the craft due to 'finicky' little problems but it was mentioned cynically that this suited QF due to financial reasons. The opportunity was there for some (thanks Oliver) to offer a factual reason.

BTW, I'll take QF anyday (I'm a Silver FF) and everyday over JQ and it annoys the crap out of me when I have to use QF FF points to fly to the likes of the Gold Coast with JQ. If I have to fly there (or similar ports where QF have abandoned for JQ) with the company paying, I'll go DJ.

I hold the same dislike for JQ as you. Thanks god they don't fly to Canberra or London, my two 'homes'
