The new J class will have fixed IFE on all A330s

What's the point of having an excellent seat with no fixed IFE?

Doesn't make sense.

Brad, J-class will have fixed IFE on all QF A330s, but only after refurbishment. The EBA-EBD have the old 2-3-2 product for the time being. The centre seat in rows 2-5 will be blocked.

Does anyone know why EBB hasn't flown since Sat 2/8? Seems odd given its just returned from maintenance.

I reckon it was actually supposed to operate the QF651 the last Sunday (03 August) but must have had a big technical issue as the flight incurred a rolling delay, and ended up being operated by EBM ex-QF650 with a 5 hour delay. OGK then subbed in on the QF597.

It hasn't gone anywhere since. However, the GDS indicates it will be operating the QF577 SYD-PER, followed by QF594 PER-BNE this coming Sunday (10 August).

Believe it has a flight control issue.

EBA was ferried from MEL to SIN earlier this evening as JQ7991. Wonder if it is going for maintenance or repaint?

Meanwhile, EBC is still in BNE for maintenance/conversion.

My guess is EBA will have the repaint first then go into the hanger for conversion, by that time EBC will be finished in the hanger and ferry to SIN for painting.
