That would be true for the last three JQ A332s (EBQ, EBR and EBS) but I was under the impression (and I think alot of people were as well) that the rest would be brought up to spec with the rest of the QFd 332s (including PTVs in each seat). Or has that plan now gone out the window?

If not, then I guess we'd be back to days of playing the lottery with these QFd A332s. Unless they are dedicating a subfleet of them to the transcontinental flying with the remaining non-PTV ones doing the east coast runs?

Don't recall that ever being announced. What was announced was a full fleet refurbishment program starting later this year, not now, that would standardise the business class cabins and refurbish the rest. But no great detail for economy except Q streaming will be throughout.

All the planes will have seatback IFE, so the ones without the Pana system will get it in the refurb, not the JQ conversion. This was confirmed in November last year when AJ was in BNE, as they are all getting eX3 Anroid based systems.

EBR was withdrawn from JQ yesterday and ferried to Brisbane for reconfiguration.

By my count (could be wrong) EBQ & EQR are the only two in Brisbane that have formally been withdrawn from JQ and handed over to QF for reconfig ?

I was under the impression the original A332s VH-EBA/B/C/D etc won't be getting the seat back IFE in economy just Q-streaming?

That is what I had thought too Brad, the only press release I have seen says the IFE system will be upgraded to what ever the latest Pana system is, with Q streaming throughout. With the seats in domestic economy refurbished rather than replaced but replaced on the international

Of course even if we are wrong, in the context of this thread that work isn't happening during the change over from Jetstar to Qantas.

Thanks,

With EQR/Q/S transferred leaving EBA/B/C/D/E/F/J/K.

I suppose that the future transfers will be dependent on B787 deliveries ?

Does anyone have the transfer schedule ?
