Jet Connect & Qantas

Can anyone tell me about the above two on Transtasman flights.Looks like Qantas fly into Christchurch and Queenstown and Jet Connect fly into Auckland and Wellington.Two years ago we flew out of Christchurch on Jet Connect but this year it was with Qantas.Any ideas?

International Short-Haul
As of August 2012, Jetconnect operates all Qantas marketed flights from Auckland and Wellington to Australian destinations. Qantas mainline operates flights from Christchurch and Queenstown. Jetconnect currently operates the following flights:
From Auckland
Brisbane (2x daily)
Melbourne (3x daily)
Sydney (5x daily)
From Wellington
Melbourne (daily)
Sydney (2x daily)
There are currently four return Qantas trans-Tasman services not operated by Jetconnect:
From Christchurch
Sydney (daily)
From Queenstown
Brisbane
Melbourne
Sydney
