Default Airport land up for sale

DOLTONE House is negotiating with Sydney Airport over a major development proposal at Kyeemagh.

Sounds like the land around the old control tower, not sure. Maybe Nigel might have an idea.

Urgh I hope this doesn't affect the beach as a spotter friendly area.

Interesting to see what will happen.

A back-up for the new one I believe. Not as well equipped, but certainly capable to grind the airport to a gentle halt.

Doesn't the rest of that building house the Sydney Terminal Control Unit?

There is a 'glassed' walkway between the tower and the main building which is still used (their cafeteria is visible from the beach parking area).

What other area is owned by the airport in that vicinity?

I don't know who owns the land, but the only other entity currently using that area is the Bureau of Meteorology. They're located right next to Tower Beach.

From what I've heard Nigel the Bom are moving inside the airport between the 2 runways, south of lima between 34L and the moat.

Lots of entities over the years have been eyeing off the TCU/Old Tower site hoping to construct hotels et al.

Regards.
