Will 2020 be the Year of Airbus
Will 2020 may be the year of Airbus with:
1) QF Project Sunrise decision next month 2) QF A321P2F Freighters arriving 3) JQ introducing the A321NEOLR in August Also, will QF make a decision to replace Cobhams B717/Bae146 fleet with A220's Interesting times are ahead. |

I won't be surprised if QF make a decision to replace 737-800's with A320neo's & A321neo's in the long run either.

The order book for the A3xxneo by Qantas would suggest that decision is already made. Hardly a year for airbus though, the freighters are small change and second hand, the neos are ordered and sunrise will be a niche fleet

I will be amazed if Qantas order anything but the MAX to replace the NG fleet.
Boeing will be offering an incredible price and the commonality with the NG will be a huge factor.
