Santa's Ops department might need to redo Santa's flight plan though otherwise his FMS won't match the paper plan given to him. I believe the North Pole's latitude isn't N00 00.0, but rather N90 00.0.

He'd better apply for Curfew dispensations as well...wouldn't want to upset the inner city residents.

He also won't get above FL280 for those long transits (inside the Australian FIRs anyway) - no ADS-B carriage and no NIL ADSB approval.

I'm sure an exemption is being conjured up somewhere....

Nope, he needed to give CASA two weeks notice for the exemption, and that's only valid in "ADS-B EXEMPT" airspace anyway (J-curve, within SSR radar coverage). Outside that, unless it's a STATE aircraft (it's not) or a MERCY flight or under an emergency, he ain't getting above FL280 even with an exemption...

Listen Adam, either he gets an exemption or I'm doing a double shift at work so I don't have to listen to the kids! (does the current Fed transport minister have kids????)

Maybe he doesn't need ADS-B exemption if he is flying below the 28000, but does he need a special license for low level ops on rooftops?

The time warping energy he uses to get to all the houses won't show up on radar surely.

Whats the MTOW of his sleigh plus cargo??

Just so many questions!!!!

Wink Chimney Rule exemption

You guys have obviously overlooked the statutory chimney rule exemption which does not require any application - it is a standing arrangement that's been around since the Star of Bethlehem was mistaken for a laser pointer ...
