Default Virgin's next e-190 jet

Does anyone know when VB will receive there next E-190 Jet. They could open up plenty of new routes with the 104 seater jet. e.g.

From Perth to Townsville and Perth to Canberra and Perth to Gold Coast. That would easily use up one aircraft.
Darwin to Townsville and to Canberra and Adelaide would use up another aircraft. Even a Cairns to Canberra but not much chance of that one happening.

There's more chance of a Cairns-Canberra route happening, than any of the others!

Even when air travel was at it's best last year, the chances of having a Perth-Townsville, or a Darwin-Townsville, would be next to zero.

Michael, please refrain from quoting the whole previous post in your post, it is not necessary, thank you - mod

Actually the ADf is one of the worst departments for giving Virgin Blue business.

The SMH published some stats for the amount of buisness each govt gave DJ ex Canberra and they only gave something like 4%. A far cry from the 30% the govt had prmised.

ZPM is due to depart Sao Jose Dos Campos on or around April 30th, for an arrival in Brisbane about 6-7 days later

I reckon Perth- Gold Coast would be the best bet out of all of them. My reason for that is they are the 2 biggest cities in Australia not yet served with a non stop flight. Plus it is a major domestic holiday destination Gold Coast with its theme parks as Perth not have anything like that yet.

Sure did.

And it failed!

An E-190 operating in peak times could work though.
