Due to the delay of the delivery of 5th Airbus A380, Emirates is reducing planned Daily A380 Dubai - Sydney - Auckland operation to 3 weekly.

A380 is still scheduled to operate starting 01FEB09, but will only operate on Day 357. Day 1246 from Dubai is operated by Boeing 777-200LR.

I saw this on the website today and as a person booked on the innaugral i am very interested. The only thing that I don't understand about this quote is the (day 357 and day 1246). What (days) do these mean cause it is all a bit confusing.
