Default Virgin Blue Gear issue

Just saw a Virgin Blue aircraft, I think a 738, fly unusually low over Manly with the Nose gear down

Anyone know what happened, and rego of the aircraft?

Exclamation I am curious also ...

I also saw said aircraft (Virgin Blue, 73? with all wheels down) flying unusually low over the westward side of the Glebe Island Bridge. Living in Glebe as I do, comments were made (to my walking companion at the time) as to why it was fliying so low and the direction off its flight (makes sense now I think of it that it ended up over Manly). What was particularly strange is it was going against the aircraft flow at the time, which was the usual North to South landing approach during a Southerly.

I was on the Opera House steps at the time and it flew VERY low over the OH then turned north. Pretty sure you'll find it was a Polynesian Blue aircraft tho.

Perhaps nothing "abnormal" occured, strange as it may seem, just a routine situation for all concerned.
