Hi all,
Firstly let me preface by saying that as a total Russian-phobe...I would do anything to see an Antonov An-30 in Sydney.....

....But are there any An-30's still flying? I thought they were all stored at Myatchekovo/Bykovo? I'd love to be proved wrong.....

Best regards
Wayne

Couldn't get to sleep so got up for a coffee and a smoke!!

Just went through AFQR 2008 checking for AN-30's; found about 5 Russian airlines and one Ukranian airline that have this type; apart from the one off's, Geodynamica Centre have 3, Lukiaviatrans have 4 and Polet 2. All are in the RA-300xx range. They are not marked as stored but you never know with the accuracy of info for that region.

I will make sure I keep a check on my RadarBox around expected arrival time and report anything I note.

Hi the aircraft is rumoured to be operating DRW-BNE-SYD today. As BNE has been getting A AN-26 of recent times anything is possible.

I read the same board and time will tell .There are no other details of reg or airline.

Due into BNE at 1450 out at 1820 hrs to SYD is the talk.

Cheers Lloyd
