Sure can. It's a Code F aircraft, same as the A380. Rwy 16L/34R is the only runway not available for it at Sydney.

If I take a run down there tonight to have a look, where is the best place to go, the Observation deck, the beach....any advice fellas?

Edit, Just saw Andrews post on going to the Ob deck, I might shoot down there as well.

Cheer's,
Jeff.

Jeff, I would personally recommend the observation deck if 16R is in use for heavy departures or just in use in general. As the An-124 has to sit on the runway for a few minutes running it's engines you have a fairly good chance of getting a shot of it while it's there. I imagine the lighting would be best that time of night from there. That's just my opinion though!

Here's an image of the aircraft over Lane Cove West this morning, just on 9:30. Pretty dark morning, so not the best photo. I also caught the QF 747 with the F1 livery at about 8:30 this morning too.

Does it really matter Sarah?

They were loading a few big containers in the back this morning when Matty McD and I went on it but all closed doors closed up now.
