QF 767 business seats
I flew to Melbourne last year on VH-OGA which was 25J configuration, and came home on VH-ZXC which was 30J configuration. I noticed that the seats on the way down seemed much bigger/better with PTVs and with a more spacious cabin (presumably because there are 25 seats), whereas on the return leg it seemed like there was less room with no PTVs. I also noticed that Qantas have quite a few different config 763s for international and domestic ops etc.
My question is this; does anyone know which aircraft (regos) Qantas operate that have the PTVs in business? And are the J seats in the ZX aircraft the same as the 30J config OGs?

It might be because OGA is international configuration

The Millennium seats in the OG* series do not have the extra reading light, though they do have laptop power. Note. The Dreamtime (international) 763s do not have laptop power. |

that's odd that the international configs don't have laptop power....

Laptop power came online quite a while after the Dreamtime seats were installed. Perhaps Qantas thinks it is not worth the extra effort to retrofit the existing config given the international 763s operate to the lesser yielding destinations? Or maybe there is power supply issues, given the Dreamtime seats operate electrically in addition to the older technology PTVs (that possibly also use a lot of electricity)?
