This is a great idea. I don't see why one should have to put up with crying kids in the premium cabins, especially when a lot of money is spent for such luxury.

agree the baby should travel down the back with the maid, so the parents can enjoy their Dom Pérignon while the baby annoys Y class pax

I don't think this is actually anything new. The 747's have not carried bassinets in 1st class for some time now.

"MALAYSIA Airlines is to ban cry-babies travelling in first class on the airline's new Airbus A380 and Boeing 747-400 fleet.
The airline said they have introduced the cry-baby ban after receiving a number of complaints about whingers from grown up first class passengers, the Australia Business Traveller reports. The airline has decided not to install adult dummies in the first class cabin of its Boeing 747-400 fleet. Those wishing to travel as cry-babies will have to suck it up in business or economy sections instead. Malaysia Airlines CEO Tengku Azmil told the Australia Business Traveller first-class passengers complained about spending a lot of money and not being able to sleep “due to cry-babies demanding another vodka despite being too drunk to serve"."
