Rch377 c-17
Reach 377, Charleston based C-17 01-0196 appeared on PP not long ago.
Does anyone know whether this went to Sydney? (Bit of trivia, this C-17 went under extensive repairs after damaging the front of the aircraft and right main landing gear in an incident in Bagram AB in 2005. ) Cheers

Is there a reason they don't show up on my PP? I am just sharing off the net so not sure if that makes a difference.

I heard Reach 377 today at around 2:15 pm on Sydney approach then as it switched to Richmond approach and tower. Was wondering what it was exactly (well I guessed it was RAAF), so I'm glad you provided the other piece in the puzzle.

Hi Nick
I don't think it would appear on PP at all. THe USAF flights are not ADSB, so do not show their positions on PP. Cheers Mark |

Nick, following on from what Mark T posted, while non ADS-B a/c are not plotted on the PP chart, they can still be shown in the Aircraft List (5th button from left). Make sure that you have the "download positionless" ticked in Options - Sharing - Setup dropdown window.
That way you know that they are about and depending on who is suppling the data, a rough idea of their location.

Departed a while ago, and going on from what Noel said it looks like it might have headed south.
