I thought Ansett's "Absolutely" campaign was a good attempt to try and clean the reputation of that carrier. I still feel it was a good one for its time, much better than this current Qantas one which I also thought was some lame Superannuation ad or something.

I still like the Australian Airlines ad from the 80,s "You should see us now", i think its on Youtube.

The Australian Airlines ads from the late 80's/ early 90's have the 737-400 in them and now in 2012 Qantas is still flying them. So much for having a modern feet.

Give me a 737-400 over a cheap and nasty Jungle Jet any day of the week. If they are still flying in 20 years time I'll eat my hat!
