I would imagine that the next batch of aircraft's to be repainted would be the 737-800's which are still in the "Old Roo" livery.

It may well be the B789, but that's still a fair way off. It's been more than three months since the new scheme was unveiled, I'd have thought that we would have had more than three aircraft the same type done at this point.

As this is a relatively minor change I doubt there will be a wholesale repaint, Just like the last change. So no doubt a/c will get repainted when they are due for a repaint, so I am not surprised they are not more in the new scheme.

There are still about a dozen 737's, plus similar number of Dash-8's and a couple of 717's in the pre 2007 livery. So no doubt we will see them repainted.

Except that QF announced the entire fleet would be repainted by 2020, so unlike last time they obviously don't intend to string it out over 10 years or more.

FWIW I think the next will either be a B738 or a B717 - there happens to be a pre-2008 livery B717 in the hangar in CBR so quite possibly it will go to TSV or WGA for repainting while it's already on the east coast.

True Ray - I was in the US when the announcement was made and missed the "2018" after "March" in the AA article. I reckon you're right with 738, before October.

Yeah it does say 2020 but it also says will be done during scheduled repaints. Something doesn't add up either way anyway.

I personally wouldn't be surprised to see a hybrid livery of some fuselage changes(titles underneath , wing tip and a/c name) but 2007 roo on tail and logo Most wouldn't notice the difference.
