Not yet Chris. They will be busy with the Jetstars and EBI after that until at least October.

Over on airliners.net, someone is reporting that the seats removed out of the -300's are being refurbished and installed into the ex JQ A332 with iPad holders and USB ports installed.

That's the first time I recall reading this about reusing the seats, is this correct?

Tom, that was always the plan. The only -200 Y seats being kept are in the newer ones (including ex Jetstatr) that have seat back IFE. The rest are getting refurbished ex -300 seats.

Cheers Ash, what about the seats in -EBG and -EBL with the small PTV's I read off a more reliable site that these are going to be replaced, with the same product iPad product fitted to the early ex JQ A332's?

They'd also lose their 'international' status?

How is it re entering service (from being reconfigured) so quickly? Is it cause of the lack of a C check maintience?

Those two have the same Y seats as the -300's. So presumably yes they will be refurbished as per the -300 seats that are going into the -200's.

QPI is back in service operating the QF61/QF62 sectors today. QPE is now in the hangar after arriving from SIN this morning.
