Hey John,
Where, and how much, did you get the EOS 7D from as I am also looking at this lens... I've seen it as cheap (local) as $1799 or as cheap as $1450 international import from Hong Kong (or I might even pick one up in Hong Kong in August when I am there...

Bernie, i got it at Harvey Norman, ordered it in for me due to some complication. It will be cheaper to get it IN Hong Kong, as the camera + lens is normally $2300. Im in Hong Kong 2 weeks today, i will look at prices for you there if i can.
