The evening "conga line" into Sydney from the south, and Fiji Airways sneeking across the Tasman heading for Bass Strait and destination Melbourne. Tasman 1 was
given a decent dogleg for sequencing.

ADS-B Live Map - Combined data from our three Sydney based ADS-B ground stations - coverage from the Gate level to 250nm.

Ops on Runway 25 never helps ...

Got to love the old noise sharing regime. 07/25 has a place and it works at times, which is why it came back to life after a premature death.

Sydney ATC is actually pretty easy by comparison to other places, especially when compared to secondary airports like Bankstown where the traffic is somewhat less professional shall we say!

It was quite busy out at the Helipads this afternoon ... the sun was popping in and out of the clouds.

I noticed that Robinsons VH-SJK and VH-VLX both have some electrical cables coming out the back window and
down onto the skids - Is this for some sort of "Floatation" activation, as they both have two small silver additions to the skids.

Also a long time since I have seen a Hughes 369E.

I dont think the Robinsons have floats, seems to be a temporary sensor setup, note the 100mph tape.

The EC130 had something similar on it's starboard skid also.

Any ideas as to what it is Grahame, Some sort of aerial or something maybe.

Cheers

Adam

Grahame, I think you'll start seeing a lot more of the 369E (or MD-500E) as it's now a part of the Blue Sky Helicopters stable. It's a seriousy sleek looking bit of gear

No photos of N298KA Beechcraft King Air C90GTX which arrived this afternoon, was visible but no way of getting a decent pic of it.

NSW Police Force Aviation Support Branch POLAIR 3 (VH-PHB) was in Wagga last Saturday doing operations and was at Wantabadgery for the unveiling of the Edward Bowen memorial.

VH-ATP parked at Wagga

VH-HVK has been in town for roughly a week, been picking it up on MODE-S.

VH-AJJ and VH-SLF parked outside the "Douglas Aerospace" hangar.

Great to see the Lear and Westwind in Wagga Wagga Robert, they are both hard working aircraft (BTW nice images Robert, and the countryside is looking very green these days).
