They should have throttled back as soon as the left main wheel was in the water, it was only ever going to get worse from then on. There looks to be good road access to Martins Bay, they should have taken the wings off and trailored it back home for a full inspection, now they have to anyway. They were very lucky.

He's lucky he put in the drink ... Had he got airborne I fear he would have been into the cliff face instead ..
