Default C17 in trouble?

Yesterday ( I think or was it Monday) I saw a C17 fly over the Blacktown area three times on the same flight path, an approach to Richmond often used by RAAF aircraft. On the third approach there appeared to be fuel leaking or being dumped from the port wing, inboard engine. Does anyone have any further information or was it just a training exercise?

Steve

Saw it during numerous circuits over the area that day but saw nothing unusual in its flights except was lower than I have seen one before.
