Default PHOTO OPP - Qatar Airways B777-300 inaugural flight from Doha to Sydney - 2 MAR 2016

Hi all,

Sydney Airport has kindly made available 3 seats on the "Media Bus" to attend an airfield photography session to capture the arrival of Qatar Airways’ inaugural flight from Doha to Sydney on this Wednesday afternoon, 2/3/2016.

To be eligible to attend this airfield photography session, you;

- Must be at Sydney Airport at 4.20pm on Wednesday 2nd March 2016.
- Must be available between 4.20pm and 6.30pm when the event conludes. (Aircraft touch down is 6.05pm)
- Must be must be 18 years or older to participate.
- Must be an active registered member of the Sydney Airport Message Board with contributions in the past 6 months and with tenure in excess of those 6 months from yesterday (28th Feb 2016).

- Must present photo ID to prove your identity.
- Must wear fully enclosed shoes, no thongs are permitted.

Furthermore, if you are one of the 3 people selected, you;

- Must ensure that your email address in your User Profile is accurate and valid so that I can make immediate contact with you today (check that now)
- Must then be able to provide me with your full name, email address and contact number via private message or email

Please register your interest by replying to this thread today.
If there are more than 3 valid submissions, all names will be entered into an electronic random selection process.
Results will be posted here and the succssful applicants contacted.

Press Conference

Also, an open invitation has been extended to everyone interested; Qatar Airways will hold a press conference the following day, Thursday, 3 March, at 10.30am at the Shangri-La hotel in Sydney City.

Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive His Excellency, Mr. Akbar Al Baker will be in Sydney to discuss the airline's new service, as well as other news and activities in Australia.
The event will offer a great opportunity to meet Qatar Airway's senior management, as well as discuss opportunities for future collaboration.

I'd like to say Thank You to Kurt and the wonderful Ladies at SACL that organised the Media Event yesterday. A big thank you also goes out to the two Gregs that escorted us around the airfield.
